The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! I am very particular about my music and it was a TOP priority that we worked with someone that understood our vibe, vision, and overall music selection for our big day. He was such a pro and knew what to ask for our venue's AV set up, music prep, and even attending rehearsal which was totally optional for him to join. Kevin understood everything from the timing of the music for the processional, and most importantly my big entrance down the aisle. When it was time to party, he spun all the tunes I requested and also went above and beyond to DJ the most FUN set ever!!! One of my highlights from the day was my husband and I dancing to one of our favorite house tracks that I didn't even request. He just had the perfect song queued up for the right time!!! I can't imagine what the day would have been without him. He had all our guests up and dancing including my parents and uncles and aunties. The vibes were immaculate!!! Above all, his personality is so kind and chill which is the kind of person you want to be working with for such a big life event. I cannot highly recommend him enough!”
