The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. “Working with Robert at Pour Vous as our wedding DJ was an absolute dream! He was incredibly organized and kept us informed every step of the way, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Robert has a real talent for reading the crowd as well. People were dancing all night long! At one point, my dad requested a special song be played for my husband and I, but we were nowhere to be found. Not a problem for Robert. He looped the song seamlessly without skipping a beat until we were finally back. Nobody noticed, and it did not disrupt the flow of the night! That just shows how talented he is. His professional music queuing kept the energy flowing perfectly as well. We also added on the photo booth experience, which was such a blast. It was really fun looking through all the photos afterward and reliving the great moments. On top of all that, Robert is a super nice guy with a fantastic, welcoming personality. “From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! “DJ Ed was the prime example of good communication prior to the wedding. He made sure our specific wants and needs were addressed for music. He followed the playlist that we gave them, did a good job of getting people onto the dance floor and excited for our wedding (especially since it was a dry wedding) and was an affordable price for our budget. The cons were that for the ceremony, the music was longer than it should have been (stopping/starting during the ceremony and too loud). Overall did a great job with the trust we placed in his hands for our perfect day!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

“DJ Ivan with Ivan Ent LLC, Musician was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. As a 28 year old bride and 33 year old groom we wanted a fun, high-energy reception to keep our diverse 100 person guestlist dancing all night. The Pictures Band was started as a family band when they were still children. Robin (guitar), and Byron (drums) started the band when they were only 10 and 11 and have been performing ever since.
