Like 295K others (and counting), I am an avid follower of Plus One Planning on TikTok. I was so excited to see Meredith offers virtual design consultations for couples not located in WI, like myself. I was struggling with how to translate my personality and likes into a design vision for a super unique venue that isn't often used for weddings. Meredith was MORE than up for the challenge! For a very affordable price, I received a full Pinterest board of ideas, a 2-page PDF to give to florists and other vendors, and a 60-min video chat where I could pick her brain and learn about the rationale behind her choices. I was blown away by how much she 'nailed it' simply from reading my questionnaire and never having met me! Her recommendations were spot on and really helped provide the clarity and assurance I needed at the middle stage of wedding planning. The sky is the limit for Meredith and I feel so fortunate I got to work with her at this moment in her career. Putting on a wedding is no small task with what feels like a million things to organize. Pretty early on, we realized a planner may take some of the weight off of our shoulders and we were so thankful we did. Megan did an excellent job coordinating with our vendors, helping us stay on track, and helping us make decisions when we were “decisioned” out with how many choices we had to make. We could not recommend Megan enough, and she truly came through on absolutely everything. She let no detail be overlooked and made sure that we were always on schedule and as least stressed as possible. Above all else, she is a kind human to work with and a wonderful person to know.

We hired Leigh & Co for day-of coordination and were paired with Heather as our main coordinator and Rachel as our assistant coordinator on the day -- both were fantastic and a joy to be around! Heather was very communicative and easy to get in touch with leading up the wedding, which put us at ease. She offered great input in developing the timeline and thinking about the overall flow of the wedding. She brought up several things that we never would have thought of that made things run so smoothly (e.g., suggesting when the officiant should ask to turn cell phones off at the ceremony, how to spread out the toasts during the reception). In setting up the ceremony/reception, Heather and Rachel made our decor look spectacular and kept track of everything special to us (including a few family heirloom pieces), and safely and quickly packed everything up for us at the end of the night. Due to some unexpected heavy traffic in the area, we ended up delaying the start of our ceremony but we didn't worry even for one second that anything would get upended because Heather and Rachel had it covered.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical and we owe it all to Katie from Willow and Waylon Events. From the moment we met Katie, her commitment to perfection and attention to detail shone through every step of the way which spoke to my very type A personality. She truly made the whole experience stress-free by keeping us on a timeline, keeping track of all of our vendors and given that we both have very hectic work schedules on top of moving out of state prior to the wedding, she dealt with all of the vendors for us. Not to mention when one coordinator from one of our vendors was not meeting her standards, she took to initiative to rectify the situation by contacting the company and changing coordinators for us to ensure we had the best possible experience. She was with us every step of the way with multiple regular check-ins over the year of planning and was by my side through the wedding day as a calming presence to keep everyone on track. She was always available via zoom, phone or text. She thought of things we didn't know we needed to think about and helped to suggest vendors when we didn't know who to choose in our price point. Above all, she is such a kind and thoughtful human being and in general, lovely to work with. I can't give Katie and her company higher praise, I would not have been able to get through planning our wedding and wedding day without her.

Hiring Bailee was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at Pazzo’s in Chicago. From the moment she arrived that morning, she brought such calm, positive energy that instantly made me feel at ease. She stepped right in and took complete control of the day in the most effortless way, making sure every single detail came together perfectly. Bailee managed all of our vendors with such professionalism and grace. When a few unexpected hiccups happened throughout the day, she handled each one so quickly and quietly that I didn’t even know there were any issues until after the wedding was over. She communicated with everyone clearly, kept us on schedule, and problem-solved with such calm confidence that it felt like everything just flowed naturally. She made sure our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception transitions were seamless and not once did I feel rushed or stressed. She also went above and beyond in the little ways that made such a difference. She checked in on me constantly, helped bustle my dress, fluffed my veil before walking down the aisle, made sure our décor looked exactly how I envisioned it, and even gathered all of our personal items at the end of the night so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She truly treated our wedding as if it were her own. Because of Bailee, we were able to be completely present and enjoy every single moment of our day. I didn’t have to worry about timelines, vendor arrivals, or any of the behind-the-scenes chaos that comes with a wedding. I just got to soak in every second, knowing she had everything under control. If you’re getting married in Chicago (or anywhere, honestly), do yourself the biggest favor and hire Bailee. She’s organized, kind, calm under pressure, and has such an incredible eye for detail. Our wedding day was a dream come true, and she played a huge part in making that happen. We’ll be forever grateful for her!
