All of our guests are STILL talking about how great Joe was - he picked perfect songs that were a hit with our crowd across generations and included some of our all time favorites as well. We gave him a few do not plays and just a couple must plays, but he handled the rest perfectly!! Fine Tune Entertainment has an easy to use planning website, where we were able to edit our timeline and song choices throughout the process - this helped keep everything super organized. Joe was excellent at keeping the schedule moving with speeches, photos and dancing. We also used Fine Tune Entertainment's sister company for the photo booth which was incredibly high quality and a major HIT with our guests. They had the option to get digital copies or take home a printed one! We added 10 up lights to our space as well and Joe perfectly managed color changes to enhance the party vibe. We highly recommend Joe & Fine Tune Entertainment to couples in the Boston/MA area because of the incredible music played, the calm demeanor and excellent communication throughout the process! “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“My husband and I had some strong opinions about the music that should be played at our wedding - for example, no classic wedding songs or oldies. We asked Graeme to cater to the younger crew at our wedding (70% of our wedding guests were 35 or younger) and he delivered. Once we opened the dance floor I never saw anyone sitting down again for the rest of the night. The tent rental company had told me that the dance floor I wanted to rent was much larger then needed for our weddings size but Graeme was able to keep it full and even over flowing all night long. He knows how to throw a party! In addition we had an outdoor ceremony and even though the wedding wasn't particularity large (98 guests) the space he needed to make music & sound work for was very large and far away from an electrical source. Graeme worked directly with my venue to ensure he had everything he needed to make the day go off without a hitch.”

Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

Their unconventional group has mastered the art of creating a great dance party that keeps guests on the dance floor all night and then humming the songs the next day!

“The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”
