With over fourteen years of Art, Design and Photography experience, I pride myself in treating Photography as not just a profession, but a passion. To me photography is a way of life, an addiction and a creative outlet. I consider myself to be an artist and photography is my chosen medium. I am a wife and mother of 2 very busy teenagers. I am also a world traveler and scuba diver, who loves animals, being in nature and finding the beauty in the little things.

There's an old Italian proverb which says: "A woman born beautiful is born betrothed." I say all brides are beautiful and that's why I think I fall in love a little bit with each of my brides. It's hard not to. I love women. When they are in their wedding day "mode" they're irresistible. Glowing and smiling and pouring out such wonderful energy I'd almost shoot wedding photography for free just to ride the endorphins. Almost. And yeah, some of the grooms are pretty cute too ;) Same sex weddings, Gay Weddings? Lesbian Weddings? Same deal, same love, same great wedding photography.

We are Dustin and Courtney, best friends and photographers. Before we shot weddings together we were a bride and groom. Yep, dated and married in less than a year! We just knew we wanted to do life together. As time has gone by we learned much more important things about each other. For example, Dustin’s heart can easily be won over with a hot cup of coffee, surfing, chasing our kids and any action movie. Courtney's perfect day includes drinking a chai latte, going for a hike with the family and shopping.

My favorite part about what I do is working with all of the great couples I get to meet. I love getting to know my clients and discovering what is most important to them about their wedding day. Each and every wedding is different and each deserves a unique approach to capture thoughtfully. It is exciting that I get to see into so many different little worlds every day. My motto is to do everything in love, and I feel like that is reflected in my work and attention to detail. Also, its great getting to be around happy people all day!

From making music videos for pop stars, to lighting models on fashion magazine shoots, my career has given me a variety of experiences and growth. My approach to photography is a blend of capturing photojournalistic candid moments and editorial portraits with thoughtful details, and beautiful light. I've always been a bit rebellious, a bit poetic, and I always knew I wanted to be a photographer, creatively telling stories like yours.

Our favorite things to do in Ventura are biking around town, checking out the local breweries, and spending time at the beach. I had always been an Art student. And my love for photography evolved when I was a kid with my interest in the quality of the specific photo print laid out in the photo album. And that was the spark that ignited the curious flame that has since then not blown away. Since then I had been photographing! Firstly, with my Panasonic "point and shoot" camera during my childhood...Yes did I mention "point and shoot reel camera"?...Yes, I did. Photography has always been a lifelong passion of mine, I picked up my first camera as a gift from my dad when I was 14 years old. Never in a million years would I have thought that my lifelong hobby could eventually become my career. I focused on my future, working my way through college and grad school to achieve my license to practice, but a part of me realized that I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to go on adventures and meet a lot of new people. So in 2019, I took that risk, changed my hours from full time to part time and put more focus on my photography. I booked my first gig later that year and have never looked back.
