“DJ Parker Marshall, was certainly one of the highlights of Lydia and I’s special day. From the moment he began the evening with quiet and soft jazz music for the cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour, he was able to match the energy of the night with ease. He even played some authentic Hispanic music to make sure my family heard something familiar and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend DJ Parker with so much faith for your special day. He even danced to some ABBA towards the end of the night and tastefully added a nice touch of performance “with the show”. Lydia and I couldn’t haven’t been happier with where he took us that night and are pleased to write this review open heartedly. Book him! Motor City HDJ started in 1999 as a way to pay for college. The more of my friends' weddings I attended, the more I realized how many bad DJs are out there in the world. I decided at that point I was going to be the "anti-DJ," committing myself to do the opposite of the things that bad DJs do.

He puts the couples NUMBER ONE, he ensures the music + vibe are what the couple want, & above all he loves this job. Brett is one to do 1000%, hop on the dance floor for a line dance, throw together new ideas + keeps the evening on schedule. From a photographer stand point, he LOVES working on the team.
