Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I don't know where to begin! First and foremost, book DJ Nate for your wedding ASAP! My fiancé(now husband) and I were looking for a DJ that was not your typical, "gaudy, corny, and obnoxious" wedding DJs these days. He was professional, organized, accommodating, and easy to talk to. Our first initial "meet-up" was through the phone. He listened to all our suggestions and helped plan our reception timeline to the T. His recommendations were spot on when we were unsure of things. His website was also easy to use. It helped us to start up the wedding reception program, add songs we loved( and hated lol), and everything else you can think of while planning the reception program. He was also very prompt with answering back emails and phone calls. He even took his time to ask us how to properly pronounce ALL the bridal entourage's full names(Filipino last names are a little tricky when it comes to proper pronunciation, and he nailed it during the reception!). Guests came up to me and said his voice was perfect! They liked how HE WAS NOT obnoxiously screaming through the mic to hype up the crowd. He let his music do the "talking." My husband and I danced the night away. Our dance floor was full the entire time, and this is not an exaggeration. Our full wedding video without a doubt showed how everyone was on the dance floor enjoying themselves. We are VERY PICKY with our music, and DJ Nate literally played all the songs we wanted. DJ Nate did an absolute amazing job with our reception music. Seriously guys, book him for your wedding/event. We cannot recommend DJ Nate from Terrace DJ enough. THANK YOU, THANK YOU NATE!”
