He also accepts songs requests for ceremony and special dances.

Pete Aranda (DJ Pete) started his DJ career in his teen years assisting his uncle carrying vinal records for his DJ gigs. Nu Standard was founded by accomplished multi-instrumentalist Derrick Hicks. Lisa earned a Master of Music degree in Harp Performance at the University of Texas at Austin. She has performed as Principal Harpist with the Austin Civic Orchestra since 2010. Lisa has experience providing background music for a variety of events, including weddings, Sunday brunch at restaurants, art gallery openings, receptions, and assisted living/senior center events. Lisa has performed at holiday parties for Tiffany & Co. and for the Texas Secretary of State.
