“Kyle was amazing to work with for our wedding! His communication throughout the planning process was always professional, quick, and organized. Kyle shared a detailed Google Doc with us to fill in with our personalized timeline of the day and preferences for music and announcements. About a month before the wedding, he scheduled a video call to go through that timeline step by step and to make sure he understood all of our requests. We shared specific songs we wanted for things like walking down the aisle and first dance and were able to share entire playlists of requests for things like music to play during cocktail hour, dinner, and our reception. On the day, Kyle was a rockstar. Everything was set up and ready to go well before our ceremony began. During the ceremony, the audio was excellent. From the volume of the music as we walked down the aisle, to the mics set up for us and our officiant, to the transition into our recessional, all of it was incredible. At the end of cocktail hour, Kyle pulled me aside just to review our entrance into the reception, which helped alleviate some nerves for me! And of course Kyle shined brightest during DANCING! He read the room, kept the energy high, and added in some awesome mixes and transitions that worked so well. We added on the photo booth and printer which was a huge hit! There were two print outs of each photo strip and you could even enter your phone number to get a digital version of the strip plus a video of all 4 photos rotating. This was super helpful especially for sharing large group photos. Kyle also sent us the digital copies of ALL of the photos and videos from the photo booth. We would highly recommend hiring Underfloor Music for your next event!”

From the very beginning, Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, and always providing us with great ideas, suggestions, and guidance to make our day special. We had a duo playing for our ceremony and during the cocktail hour and then we had a small 3 person band playing for our reception. And it was the perfect amount of people. We had spoken to some other bands and they all kept saying we need some big band for the reception, but since we were having less than 100 people at the wedding, we didn’t think it made sense to have like a 10 person band, it just seemed like it would overwhelm the whole wedding. And we knew we wanted a band component since my father plays guitar and I had a feeling would want to play a song at some point. Then we spoke with Scott, he seemed to understand our vision of having a small band. He loved the idea of my father playing a song, and made suggestions on when was the perfect time for him to play, and even laughed along with our idea of playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire, over and over again, since we were getting married on “the 21st night of September” (we did not do this)! The day of the band was amazing! They even took the time to learn our first dance song, which was a fairly unknown track, and played it beautifully, and surprised us with playing it. Since we thought it was just going to be a recorded version of the song. That was very special to us! And they were more than happy to let my dad play his song to us. Overall, the band's performance was lively and engaging, and they kept our guests dancing all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help make our wedding celebration so memorable, and couldn’t have done it with Scott!”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. “Joey G is like my cool uncle except he’s got sick DJ skills. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not only was he professional and organized, but he also brought an incredible energy to our wedding. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, we provided him with a specific music selection, and even though we never rehearsed together, he nailed it perfectly. During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”
